My daughter is obsessed with dressing like princesses. After having 4 sons, I have to admit – I’m EATING IT UP!! I absolutely love it!! It’s adorable to see her get excited about wearing something pretty and magical!! She spins! She poses! She feels like an ACTUAL princess!
Little Adventures sent us a couple costumes for Victoria to play dress-up in recently and one of her faves is the Sleeping Beauty costume! I was surprised she picked this one because I thought she’d go with something bigger and bolder, but she loved that it looked “pretty.”

In 2002, when two moms discovered the lack of clothing-quality dress-ups and princess costumes available for their children, they decided to take action. Jenny Harrison, mother of ten, and Heather Granata, mother of five, began their own little adventure by sewing and selling their very own dress-ups at local craft fairs. They made them soft and machine washable! They engineered them for everyday, all-day adventure! It didn’t take long for Jenny and Heather to realize the potential of their little endeavor. During their first year in business, they sewed over 2,000 dresses in Jenny’s basement…and with that, the Little Adventures brand was born.

And I don’t know if you read it slow enough but the costumes are WASHABLE!!!
We all know the princes and princesses aren’t always neat!! LOL!! So to have the option to machine wash… HEAVEN!!!
I just love how Victoria comes alive in a costume! She loves to play and has so much fun!!
I don’t know what I love more…
– The fact that she wanted sunglasses to complete the look.
– The fact that her shoes don’t match (she did this on purpose).
– Or the fact that she stayed in a perfect pose and said, “Did you get it?”
My girl! Or… I should say, my Sleeping Beauty!
