HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY TO MY VICTORIA!

My baby girl is 5 years old today! 5 years old! Where has the time gone!? It has just flown by and it’s CRAZY! In the blink of an eye… she’s 5! WHAT!!??

I don’t even know where to begin with this post because Victoria is well, my Victoria. I prayed long and hard for her. I wished upon every star in the sky. When I found out on Halloween of 2012 that I was expecting a baby, my heart soared. I suffered a miscarriage 4 months before I found out I was pregnant with Victoria. It was a tough time for me because Matt had just found out in January of that year that he had a GIST tumor and needed to be on a chemo pill for 4 years. I was trying my best to hold it together, so when I found out I was pregnant again… it was a shining light in my life at that time. I needed Victoria, there’s just nothing else to say. She was more than just a want in my life, I needed her.

From the second she was placed in my arms, I knew I had a best friend. Living with 5 guys… this little girl was a blessing some true! Throughout the last 5 years she’s been truly my best friend. She’s my mini. We love to be together and we love to do what we can together. She’s my everything.

We’re celebrating tonight with family and then she’s having her 1st “big girl” party on Friday… princess theme, of course! She wouldn’t have it any other way!

And… as usual, I’ve created a birthday video for her! I discovered a long time ago that I wouldn’t be able to keep up with 5 baby books, so I decided to create birthday videos for everyone. I recap the year and put it to a song that they love right now. Victoria is my princess, so I decided to put it to the “Hall of Fame” song that you hear on the Disney network. It was funny because as she was heading to bed last night she said to me, “Mom… can you use the princess song in my video?” And I already had! My girl!
