Short Gold Dresses for the Summer
Gold has been my fave color this season because it’s just super chic to me. I’ve been buying gold everything… tumblers, notebooks, earrings, necklaces, etc. I’ve now moved into finding some key summer pieces that are gold. I just feel like it’s the kind of color that goes with everything.
Since I’m 5 feet tall, I need to find some short gold dresses. I wish I could wear long and flowy, but they just don’t look that good on me. I need to find dresses that will work for my body type. I love short because I’ve been really trying to focus on showing off my (ahem) legs rather than anything else. When it comes to picking the best cut in a dress, you should really decide on one specific feature to highlight. For me, it’s my legs.
I’m sharing with you some of my fave short gold dresses that I’ve found. Don’t be afraid to add in some extra colors with the gold dresses, too. I think one of the coolest and chicest looks in a black dress with lots of gold on it. I think it’s such a showstopper and just gorgeous as can be!

I also love anything with a tarzan sleeve, that’s what I call it! I’m obsessed with this Halston option. It’s so perfect and it’s a dress that is just perfection to a T! I love that it’s an option that I could wear again and again and again. I think the gold is so shimmery and looks like a fab mirror!

I can’t possibly do a post about short gold dresses without talking about my Rachel Zoe. She is gold to the max and then some. She rocks gold left and right and up and down!
