I’m going to be super honest with you, I’ve never been over-the-top super crazy and excited about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I know it’s silly to start my blog post off this way, but I just want to be real here. I’m all about insane price points during BIG sales and I’ve never really had my socks knocked off with money saved for this sale.

I also know it’s tough for people who aren’t card members to get some of the top selling items because they’re usually sold out before it opens to the “general public.” I do have a Nordstrom card, but I haven’t wanted to share about the sale until it was open to the public because I just wanted to make sure whatever I shared was fair game for everyone.

What I ended up doing last week was scouring the entire sale and coming up with (10) favorites from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I do want to add that I LOVE Nordstrom, they really are that incredible go-to department store where you can find just about anything that you need on the fashion and beauty front. When they closed our Providence location I was devastated because I loved shopping there and just looking around for fashion inspiration.

In picking my top (10) favorite picks, I looked for 3 things:

1. Price point. I wanted to make sure the price points were reasonable. This is a sale, so I wanted SALE prices.

2. Longevity of an item. I wanted to make sure I filtered down (10) items that were classic and timeless items that could be worn and used over and over again. When you’re shopping sales, it’s great to splurge on items you’ve had your eye on, but it’s also great to stock up on items you can use again and again and again.

3. Functional style. I’m a fashion girl, I love trends and styles that are fabulous. I wanted to find items that have a great style to them and can be worn on women who aren’t just 20 something or a size zero.
