My Victoria is officially double digits! She turned 10 on July 9th and I still can’t believe it! It’s actually taken me a full week to process that my “baby” is getting older. She’s always been the one I’ve hung onto because she’s the littlest, but it’s just becoming more and more clear that she’s getting older and I want time to slow down!

But as she embarks on her 10th year… I want her to know how loved and special she is to our entire family and to her friends. Victoria is just FUN. She reminds me a lot of my son Alexander who was once described by a teacher as a “party in a box!” Victoria has a ton of energy and loves to constantly be moving and doing something. Whether she’s biking, roller skating, talking to friends, making little experiments in the backyard, crafting something… it doesn’t matter, she just loves to be busy!

Victoria is just my sidekick. My best friend. My everything. It’s not always easy being the ONLY girl in a family of 5, not to mention… the youngest! She takes it in stride and it’s made her beautifully tough, which is something I know will serve her well in her life. She’s also just the sweetest, more caring, and kindest little girl I know. I just love everything about her and I’m so happy that she was so happy to celebrate the big 10!

Each year I make my kids a birthday video recapping the last year.

Victoria’s was a fun one to make because I have about a million photos and videos of her since we’re always together!

And so… to my Victoria. I hope this next year is filled with tons of fun and lots of cool things! I love how you’re obsessed with Squishmallows, Calico Critters, biking, and slime right now. I know I will miss these days in a few years when you’re a teenager into more expensive type things! LOL!

You’re my person. And I love that you love me just as much as I love you! Although… like I always tell you, I do love you more!

And yes, you are my favorite daughter in the whole entire world!
