St. Patrick’s Day is this week and it’s time to have some fun! I love creating adorable hairstyles on Victoria for St.Patrick’s Day because it’s just a good time to be had and show your Irish spirit. Here’s a cute 4-leaf clover hairstyle for you to try.
4-Leaf Clover Hairstyle for St. Patrick’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day hairstyles can be just about anything if you add some green ribbon or green glitter to the hair, but for me – I love going with a 4-leaf clover hairstyle or a shamrock hairstyle for St. Patrick’s Day. I feel like they really kick off the fun for a hairstyle.
When it comes to creating this particular hairstyle it really does help to have a topsy tail tool. I’ve actually never tried to create this hairstyle without one because it makes it seamless to do and to create. I’m all about making sure that I share as many hairstyles as possible with a topsy tail tool because if you have one, you want to use it.
For this 4-leaf clover hairstyle, also make sure you have green ribbon on hand, too. This will give it that polished and finished look! I will share below where you can affordably find ribbon and the topsy tail tool – both being very inexpensive.

Step-by-step:
1. Start with a ponytail in the hair.
2. Take your topsy tail took and insert on the side. Grab a smaller section of hair and loop through to pull it. Here’s the catch. Don’t pull all the way through, I hold my finger there so it will create a little loop that will be the start of the clover.
3. Repeat on the other side. Try to make them exactly the same size.
4. Take the topsy tail and insert in the middle of the ponytail. Take a larger section of hair and loop it through. Again, don’t pull all the way. You want to create a bigger loop on the top for a clover.
5. Take a hair elastic and gather the tail together. Add the elastic in, but allow for a little room as to create the bottom of the 4-leaf clover.
6. I add a green ribbon to top it off!
I just love this St. Patrick’s Day hairdo. I’ve been doing this one on Victoria since she was in kindergarten (she’s in 5th grade now). I think it’s creative, fun, and super cute to wear. She always gets compliments when I do this hairstyle.
