Ahh… Spring! It’s finally here – at least technically speaking! It has still been a bit chillier than we’d like it here in New England, but we’ve had a few mild days – and at least we know the warmer weather is right around the corner.
And we’re more than ready to welcome it with style!
I’ve always loved tennis and golf fashions, even though I don’t play those sports regularly, but I had never jumped on the skort-wearing train when it came to running. I’m not sure why; I guess I thought that the skirt part of the skort would get in the way of my stride, but I actually loved wearing it.
I tried out the 4all Side Pocket Knit Skort in black.
The shorts part of the skort are really comfortable and not constricting at all – and instead of getting in the way, the skirt part just kind of went along with the flow of my running stride.
As I mentioned in my last post about 4all, I’m in love with the brand’s stretchy, moisture-wicking fabric. It keeps me comfortable and dry during my workouts – two very important things!
And the skort’s side pockets, while undoubtedly great for holding golf and tennis balls, are also the perfect size to store running gels during long runs.
As an added bonus, I love the cut of the skort. It’s feminine and flattering – something I wouldn’t hesitate to wear while running errands or grabbing lunch after a workout.
