Mother-Daughter Monday #3: Talking Support

As kids, my siblings and I were involved in a ton of activities, between swimming, running, softball/baseball, basketball, school band/chorus, etc. I can’t remember our parents ever not coming to one of our events. They were always there to support us (or even coach our teams!), no matter what we were doing.

This support from our parents hasn’t stopped just because we aren’t little kids or teenagers anymore. They’re still always there to cheer us on in any endeavor. And it feels so great to be able to return that support to them now, whether it’s Dad running his first 5K or Mom running a marathon.

So for this edition of Mother-Daughter Monday, Mom and I talk about how supporting each other’s endeavors and doing things to motivate each other helps keep our bond strengthened.
