One year ago tonight Brian and I drove to nearby Newport, RI to meet a puppy named Sobe that was being fostered there. I had seen him on Petfinder.com and fallen in love with his cute little face.
We had been talking about adding a third dog to our family for awhile, and I just had a feeling this puppy would be a perfect fit. When we arrived at Sobe’s foster parents’ home, and we met Sobe, Brian and I instantly fell in love. We took him home that night and renamed our new puppy Jethro because we’re huge fans of Mark Harmon’s NCIS character Leroy “Jethro” Gibbs.
I can’t believe it has been a whole year since Brian and I adopted our boy. He has added so much joy and love to our lives, and his two big doggy sisters adore him, too (most of the time!).

I have a yellow lab that I just adopted as a Christmas gift for my kids and hubby. She’s just 3 months now, but she is growing soooo fast! You two are so adorable together!
