In less than 3 weeks I will be enjoying the sun and sand in South Florida. To say I can’t wait would be a major understatement. It has been a cold, snowy, wet winter here in New England, and I am more than ready to hang out in bikinis, sandals and sunglasses – and to sip some of my favorite warm-weather cocktails poolside!
Brian and I go to Florida every March, and we look forward to it all winter long. The resort we go to has live music each evening starting at 5pm, and it’s our ritual to make cocktails in our condo and drink them down by the pool while we enjoy the music.
Recently, I was able to try out two new Lipton® Iced Tea products, which gave me the opportunity to create a fun new cocktail that I’m sure I’ll be making a lot while we’re on vacation! I’ve already mixed it up a few times at night, and it has totally made me and Brian even more excited for our trip. It has also made me excited for this summer, when my girlfriends and I get together often to catch up on my parents’ back deck overlooking the bay. This will definitely be a staple drink for those girls’ nights!
Ingredients:
5 oz. Lipton® 100 Calorie Half & Half (Tea & Lemonade) OR Lipton® Diet Green Tea Honey Ginseng Iced Tea
1 oz. spiced rum
Juice of half a lemon
Two ice cubes
Combine all ingredients and enjoy!
