Believe it or not, I get more people asking me for baby recommendations and must have baby items NOW more than ever! The funny part is that I haven’t had a baby in 4 years. I’m not in the “thick” of it anymore, but I’m seen now as a seasoned mom, so people (almost daily) ask me questions about anything and everything when it comes to BABY. I personally love it because I miss having babies, if my oldest wasn’t going off to high school near year – maybe, just maybe – I would think about a 6th (my husband would say otherwise)! Good thing is that my sister is due with her 3rd baby this June, so at least my baby fix will be satisfied with my new nephew!

I’ve made it my business to be in the know about baby items throughout the last few years for my blogging business and also for my sister. I loved seeing the must have baby items because even though I’m out of the stage, many of my readers aren’t! I’ve loved seeing all the new strollers and car seats and carriers and monitors and diaper innovations throughout the last few years. This is such an incredible time to have a baby because with modern technology so much can be done now. It’s pretty extraordinary!

Must Have Baby Items

I thought it would be fun today to share with you some of the top must have baby items (in my personal opinion) for new moms and moms-to-be out there! It’s exciting to see everything that’s out and really figure out what you genuinely need. I still smile when people ask if they need to get a wet wiper heater! I remember asking the SAME question when we had our 1st baby back in 2004! Was it necessary? Did we need it? I can’t tell you how many unnecessary things we did buy back then! On top of the fact that we didn’t have the money to be tossing out the window! By the time my 5th came along, we were pros – literally – PROS!

Here are some must have baby items that I have loved and brands I have used throughout the years that are still just knocking it out of the park! I do believe that when it comes to choosing products, you want to make sure the brand is a brand you love, too. You become loyal to baby items. These items make your life and you baby’s life easier, so you want to make sure whatever you bring in is worth it. It’s an investment and you want to make sure it’s a good one. I’m sharing with you brands and products that I personally stand behind and love and will continue to buy for people in my own life with babies.

Must Have Baby Items – Diapers

Let’s start with diapers. I fell in love with Pampers diapers years and years ago and just stayed with them throughout the years. It’s funny – at one point in my life – I had 4 kids in diapers! William was 3 1/2, Alex was 2 1/2, Ben was 14 months and Henry was just born! I remember having 4 different piles of diapers, all with different sizes.

It was my normal, but when ever someone came over – they would just stare and laugh! I personally used the Pampers Swaddlers with my babies. I loved the Swaddlers because they were super soft, I mean – SOFT. I always felt that it must feel good on their little bummies! The biggest thing for me when the kids were babies? 12 hour protection. I can’t tell you how much this meant to me and my husband – we were like zombies throughout those first few years. Every new mom and dad knows that sleep walking – how am I functioning – walking around. When I was sleeping (or got to) I didn’t want to be woken up for a wet diaper in the crib. So this was HUGE for me! What Pampers has done recently is created a Pampers Pure line, too. These diapers are crafted with premium cotton, soft plant-based and other thoughtfully selected materials. I love that they created this line for parents who were looking for this type of diaper. The innovations from Pampers always impressed me and continued to make me love them.

What about car seats? OK… there are tons and tons on the market that are all amazing and work beautifully. I personally loved my Maxi Cosi Car Seats! I’m a big runner, so I’m going to give you 2 strollers that I obsessed over and really would still use if Victoria wasn’t so big now!
