There’s just something about a whimsical and fun hairstyle for the holidays that is so much fun! I love creating cute ones like this on my Victoria because it’s just festive and puts me right into the holiday spirit (her, too!).

For this particular hairstyle, you need to know how to braid. That’s the one thing that will make this hairstyle come together. The only braided needed for this one is a basic three-strand braid.

You will also need:

Ribbon or yarn
Hair elastics

Step-by-step Tutorial for this Fun Holiday Hairstyle:

Part the hair along the bottom and create 4 small ponytails.
Take the section on top and create 2 high pigtails.
Take ribbon or yarn (whichever you prefer) and loop through the hair elastics of the 4 low ponytails.
Braid each of these ponytails, including the yarn as one of the strands. For this one, I used the yarn as 2 of the strands to really make the colors pop.
Take the braids and hair tie 2 of them to the opposite high pigtail.
Repeat on the other side.
I add ribbon bows on each of the pigtails and just let the ribbon/yarn fall into the pigtail for extra fun.
