When it comes to holiday hair ideas there are tons of them that you can and could do on your hair (or someone else’s). I love that the holidays bring so much cheer and fun to fashion and beauty, and I love my hair and my daughter’s hair to reflect that.

This cute holiday hairstyle for long hair is one that we just came up with while we were doing another hairstyle. It’s funny, sometimes the best hairstyles happen this way with the two of us! It’s always fun to see what we will come up with!

The reason I love this pretty holiday hair idea is that it’s simple. You don’t need to know how to braid. You don’t need a ton of hair products or accessories for it. It’s just a pretty and simple hairstyle to do for the holidays.

Here’s how to do this cute holiday hairstyle. Make sure you take the time to brush the hair nice and smooth and use a wonderful hair styling cream. I’ll share my favorite below.

Step-by-Step Hair Tutorial:

1. Part the hair down the middle and create to pigtails in the middle of the head.
2. Topsy Tail each one of the pigtails.
3. Take the tails that are hanging down and hair-tie them together.
4. Topsy Tail this section.
5. You can keep it as is OR I love to add some hair accessories! I showcase how you can add a red ribbon (or any ribbon, a velvet bow clip, or even (my new favorite!) hair tinsel!
