If you’re looking for an easy two minute hairstyle, I’ve got you covered! This is a super simple and easy hairstyle for you to try on your hair or someone else’s. To be honest with you, you could probably do this hairstyle in one minute.
Easy Two Minute Hairstyle
When I create and share hairstyles I like them to be as easy as can be. I know that all of my hairstyles don’t work that way, but I try my hardest to keep in mind how long it should take to do the hairstyle I’m sharing. Nobody has time to do a 30-minute hairstyle on a busy morning!
This hairstyle literally takes 2 minutes or less to do, which makes it one of my favorites. I also love that I can just as easily do this one on my own hair as well. Those are always bonus wins for me!
The inspiration for this hairstyle was the new velvet bow clips that I just bought. I’ve been loving how they look in the hair and have become focused on sharing hairstyles where these clips can be used. I think they’re so pretty and just the perfect hair accessory for any occasion.
Simple and Easy Two Minute Hairstyle Tutorial
Here’s a quick and easy hair tutorial for this particular hairstyle. As you’ll see, I swapped out the velvet clip bow at the end for a regular ribbon, just in case you don’t have any of the velvet clip bows (yet). I’ll share below where I bought mine!

As you can see, it’s as easy as can be.
Step-by-step tutorial:
1. Brush hair nice and smooth.
2. Take a small section on one side and add a hair elastic.
3. Simply topsy tail that small section.
4. Repeat on the other side (make sure the amount of hair you grab is the same as the other side).
5. Bring these 2 sections together and add a hair elastic. If you’re unable to bring them together easily, simply loosen the hair elastic, this will do the trick!
6. Add your velvet bow clip.
*If you don’t have a clip. Take the 2 sections and bring them together with a ribbon and tie with a bow. Such a cute and easy hairstyle.
Just like this! I think this is a very pretty options if you don’t have a velvet blow clip.
