Step-by-step hair tutorial:
- Start by bringing the hair forward.
- Take your magic comb (I will link below!) and create a V in the hairline (as you will see me doing on Victoria).
- Make sure the sides are even and then brush the hair nice and smooth.
- Take this section and create a tight three-strand braid. The key here is making sure the braid is on the tighter side so that it will stay flat.
- After you create the braid, grab a small section of hair and add a hair elastic. You want to create a small ponytail.
- Then take the braid and fold it over straight back, take the last braid bump and open it up… slowly pull the braid through the ponytail.
- Tighten up the ponytail so it’s nice and secure.
- Feel free to add a ribbon or a bow. This will dress up the hairstyle a little more!
As you can see, it’s a sweet and pretty half up half down hairstyle for girls. It’s one of those hairstyles that you can easily wear to school or again, a special occasion. It’s a must-try and you definitely want to add into your normal hairstyle rotation.
