VSCO Girl Hairstyles That Are Easy To Do

I’m someone who has always loved to play with hair and now with my daughter, I’m in hair heaven! I’ve found my people over on TikTok and we’ve been creating a ton of hairstyles to share. I’ve been into VSCO Girl Hairstyles lately. Why VSCO? Because VSCO embodies a relaxed and easygoing style, which all of these hairstyles are!

When it comes to VSCO Girls Hairstyles the first thing that comes to mind for me is braids and buns. I mean – think about VSCO girls?  I always feel like VSCO girls have these 2 styles that seem to embody this trend. I love these 2 hairstyles for long hair because they’re easy to do and there are a variety of different ways that you can rock a braid or a bun.

I’ve been having so much fun experimenting with my daughter’s hair. She has long flowy hair, which is perfect for certain hairstyles. I kind of think of her hair like a California beach girl!

LOL… it’s long and blonde and is easy to “play” with. I’m always asked where I get inspiration from for my long hair hairstyles. Honestly? Sometimes I just sit with her and play with her hair until something comes to me.

I’m also someone who loves to find inspiration from things I see and things I find. A couple weeks ago I saw a waitress rocking a cute style, so I improvised on Victoria’s hair and created something like it.

Lots of these styles are pretty basic ones you always see, so I love sharing how to do them. I’m not an expert by any means, you’ll never ever see me doing intricate hairstyles for girls. I’m someone who likes to stay in the slower lane and more practical lane when it comes to hair. I just have fun with it!

One thing that always drives me crazy is when I see moms and dads getting annoyed with hairstyles because everything looks to complicated. I get it, believe me.

In the mornings we want easy as can be hairstyles for our kids. We don’t have to think about it, we just want to do it and GO! It’s helpful to have on hand some styles that are your go to styles in the morning or when you’re heading out.

I created a video with some of our VSCO Girl Hairstyles, these are just 6 of them! If you head to our TIKTOK account, we have a TON MORE!! (Love a follow on TikTok, too!). I just wanted to share with you a few so you could get an idea of what some VSCO Girl Hairstyles look like! I’m going to explain each style below, too!

Enjoy the VIDEO!

6 Hairstyles for you to check out:

Hairstyle #1: Create a quick top bun and then take strands of hair on each side and braid. As you finish the braids, wrap them around the bun on top. I like to secure them with elastics when I wrap them just to make sure they stay in place. I mean, it can’t get much easier than a style like this one. I love it!

Hairstyle #2: Just make a ponytail, seriously… just a standard ponytail. Then take a chuck of it (see video for how much I’m talking about) and wrap it around the elastic band. The point of this easy style is to make it look like the hair wrapped around the elastic is holding it in place. I love this one and is perfect for any woman at any age!

Hairstyle #3: Make a ponytail and then braid it. Easy first step. Then take the braid and slowly and easily start to pull at the braid sections. You want to (literally) puff it out to make it expand and look bigger here. When I first started doing this, I went SO SLOW because I wanted to make sure I didn’t mess up the braid. After you’re done just wrap it into a bun.

Hairstyle #4: This one looks intricate, but it’s not!! I promise!! Make 2 small “ponytails” on top of your head (just like my video). Then you do a quick flip style on each one. Watch my video for the exact tutorial. I go slow so you can really see how it’s done. Then take these 2 sections and use them in a braid as you go down the back of your head. I then pull the sides to make it puffy, too.

Hairstyle #5: The easiest and coolest top knot ever! Top know the hair with a wrap around, just like I did. Then take the hair left and divide into 2 sections and braid each of them. As you braid each section, then take the braid and wrap it around your top knot. I love how this look looks at the end! These are the ultimate VSCO Girl Hairstyles.

Hairstyle #6: This is the first super cute hairstyle we did on TikTok! I made 2 braids on the sides and banded them up! Then I made a low ponytail and flipped it and then added in the loose braid strands. Again – you can see the whole tutorial in the video. I’m obsessed with this style in particular.

I hope these super cute hairstyles are fun for you to create! We can ALL rock and wear VSCO Hairstyles. It’s one thing that I love and that I know firsthand! I think these are super fun and super cute to wear out and about. Whenever my hair is looking particularly dirty, I always take out the braids for some backup. It’s just easy and doable for me.
