We’re all looking for something for kids to do right now. I wanted to create a list of things to do with kids during quarantine because this is all new (and a little scary for them). We’ve never been tasked as parents to come up with what to do in quarantine for kids. This is all new territory.
When you’re thinking of things to do in quarantine with kids, you need to make sure (2) things are in mind: 1) you need to make sure they’re staying safe 2) you need to make sure they’re happy. The best is finding family activities during quarantine because it brings everyone together.
List of Fun Things To Do in Quarantine for Kids
Indoor Camping – Set the living room up like you’re going camping and sleep together there overnight. It’s simple and definitely a fun indoor adventure for kids.
Baking Competition – Think of one recipe that everyone can make either on their own or teamed up with someone else. Have everyone create the same thing and turn it into a competition.
Game Day – This is probably the best when you’re wondering what to do in quarantine for kids. Every family should have a bunch of board games on hand. Take a bunch out and have some fun. Quarantine games for kids is always a fun thing to do.
Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt – If you’re wondering what to do with kids outside during quarantine have a fun scavenger hunt. Compile a list of things for you to hunt for and go out and have some fun together.
Bubble Bath Time – One thing my kids have always loved is a bubble bath. Not just any bubble bath, but one with extra bubbles that they can stay in for a long time. This is the perfect opportunity.
