One of my favorite braids is a pull-through braid. They’re so pretty and easy to do, so I wanted to share with you how to do a pull through braid in case you’re not sure how to create one.
How To Do a Pull Through Braid
I’m all about creating hairstyles that are easy to do, but I love it when a hairstyle is easy but looks like it’s so much more complicated than it actually is. This is one of those hairstyles.
A pull through braid is such a great hairstyle for just about anything – it’s great for an everyday look, it’s great for sports, it’s great for work, it’s great for dressing up – it works for anything.
When it comes to trying to show someone how to do a pull through braid, it’s all about making sure you have enough hair elastics and (hopefully) a clip to help you out as you work your way down the ponytail.
Pull Through Braid Tutorial
I tried to make my hair tutorial as slow as I could so the steps were easy to follow.

Here are the steps:
1. Start with a ponytail
2. Divide the ponytail into 2 sections, one on top, one on the bottom
3. Take the top one and split it into 2 sections and pull the bottom one up through it.
4. I use a clip to secure the bottom section as I hair tie the top 2 sections together.
5. Repeat this sequence all the day down.
6. When at the bottom, hair tie when you’re done.
I just love this braid and I hope this tutorial on how to do a pull through braid helps you out as you try one on yourself or someone else.
