A year ago today I wrote a post that looked back on 2011 and looked ahead to 2012. As the years tend to do, 2012 flew by and now it’s 2013. Wow! Doesn’t it seem like yesterday that everyone was flipping out about Y2K? Memories…
2012 was a great year. Like any year it had its ups and downs, but thankfully, the “ups” were abundant!
Here are some of the highlights:
Adopting a third doggy, our big baby boy, Jethro
Our annual March trip to South Florida – Mom and Dad joined us for the first few days, which was awesome
Reconnecting with some family members I hadn’t seen in a few years
Honeymooning in the Bahamas
Finding out I’m going to be an Auntie again
I like the idea of starting a new year with a clean slate. Things I wanted to do, but didn’t get to, in 2012? Well, there’s always 2013.
One big thing I would really, really love this year is to start a family with Brian. Other than that, I would like exactly what I hoped for one year ago today: to continue to simplify and to spend time doing the things I love most: being with Brian and our dogs, being with family, writing, biking and practicing yoga.
I hope 2012 was good to you, too. Here’s to a fabulous 2013 filled with love and happiness!
